Jacksonville FNL Social recap!

All I can say is Wow! What a fabulous time we had at our regional social in Jacksonville, FL Sept 23 - 26th, 2021

Thanks to our host, fellow member and trader, Lori Bauer and her awesome husband Kevin, we had a trading house that the members could stop in, have some grub and drinks and enjoy the fellowship of fellow traders.

Lori's beautiful house is located in Palm Coast, with a huge covered backyard with a pool on a canal with alligators, bass and turtles! Couldn't have imagined a better spot for us!! Thank you Lori and Kevin!

Quite a few members arrived on Thursday and Friday to trade and socialize. Friday night was spent at beach front restaurant with great weather, excellent food and entertainment!

On Saturday morning, Rob, Chris, Lydean, and Travis headed out EARLY to fish with Capt. Brad Smith in his 26 foot Yellowfin center console. Unfortunately the weather kept us from going offshore, so we made the most of the excellent inshore fishing. Travis and Chris caught the biggest fish, two bull redfish at 20 and 22 pounds! Those bull reds put up quite a fight!

Everyone caught fish and had a blast! We will be back to fish with Capt. Brad again next year!

While some fished, others stayed at Lori's house to prep for the Surf and Turf bbq held that night.

Special thanks to FNL member and new trader, Wanda S, who along with Lori and a few others, prepped for the Surf and Turf.. All I can say is WOW!! The food and company was top notch!! Filet Mignon, Mac N Cheese, Fish Taco's with all the trimmings made for quite a remarkable meal.

Sunday was spent having brunch at the beach and just relaxing from the previous nights festivities.

Another fabulous FNL Social is in the books! Our next Social will be held in No California on Dec 4th. Details coming so stay tuned!
